Occasional thoughts and essays on triathlon and cycling

You might have come across the concept that it takes 10,000 hours of deliberate practise to become an accomplished performer.  I don’t have a record of the number of hours that I’ve spent deliberating over the various aspects of what we might loosely group under the banner of Triathlon, encompassing as it does swimming, running, cycling, competition, physiology, psychology, equipment, training, coaching and a host of others for which I’ll use the term etc.  I do know that I’ve been doing it for thirty years.  Tim.
